Dog Life explores free improvised music on a high-energetic plateau, descending from the outskirts of free jazz, and further towards a harder, darker and undefined terrain. Their debute album was critically acclaimed in Europe as well as in the US. On their new album Fresh From the Ruins, Doglife continue to push the freejazz-punk limits and sets out new directions with elements of doom and noise.
Anna Högberg: Saxophones

I've only begun listening to this but it is absolutely astounding. The depth, the soulfulness, the rhythmic drive, this music speaks to me strongly. Beautiful, passionate, amazing, creative music, I cannot recommend it enough! To be able to create this kind of music on the fly all the while maintaining coherence and a strong sense of musicality is mind-blowing. A sincere thank-you to Catalyst Records for making this available in digital format! alen86

If you think you know big band jazz then listen to this monster! Its huge and raucous. The sax solo’s get really crazy.
Its the soundtrack to a riot and I love it! I reckon Charles Mingus would love this too. Crinklechips
